Cubby Flashback

Is it really baseball season again?

Henry and Nana - 10/01/08 (around a week old)

New Friends

Last weekend, Henry finally met some very important members of the family... still a few to go, but he had some great quality time with most of the Olsen side... all in celebration of Grandfather. He loved every second of the attention, especially from three of his gorgeous second cousins, the Louk girls. Thanks for all of your help girls! Henry cannot wait to hang out with you again!

Shelby was a great "chair back" for Henry

Shelby is a quick learn

Elise is apparently already a pro at this game!

7 Months

Henry has been so much fun this month. So much fun, that I hardly have time to blog... however, some new fun Hank tricks include rolling across the room, a funny army crawl/pull, alertness beyond belief and a love of chicken and ham... For now, I will bribe you with pictures. Let's be honest, that is the reason we all visit these blogs anyway! :)

Tribute

William L. Olsen
July 11, 1922- April 16, 2009

Sadly, my Grandfather passed away today. I am so glad we had the chance to spend some quality time with him last Saturday. He is so loved by so many people, and he loved us all every single day. While I know we will all miss him terribly, he is finally at peace, and that is comforting. Unfortunately, I do not have a ton of pics on this computer, but here are a couple of him with a sampling of his many great-grandchildren.

Happy Easter

We spent Easter in Decatur this year, and it was a great trip. The Easter Bunny was great to Henry, very practical. Henry got bibs, jammies, binks, sippy cups and of course, a few fun things. For some reason, he ended up with two baskets from the Easter Bunny. Lucky Boy. He was, as always, a good boy all weekend, but we had some difficult times. He is getting three teeth in at the same time, so he is a bit uncomfortable. Luckily, there was a dentist in the house, and Henry got some pain management advice. In addition to the expected Easter festivities of church and brunch... we had the chance to have a birthday dinner with my brother/Uncle Bryce and visit with my Grandfather for a bit. Henry showed off his skills... mainly those of being cute and admiring ceiling fans, while hanging out in bed with Grandfather. It was a nice visit for everyone.

Scruba Dub Dub...

Hank got a new tub.... at Nana's house. Nana bought Henry an adorable inflatable duck tub. That quacks. Despite the fact that she tried to drown him in it, he loves it... Thanks Nana!

Bathtub or Jacuzzi... you decide! All he needs is a cigar...
