Oh Croup!
Poor Henry was diagnosed with croup today. This diagnosis was shocking in that there was not even a hint of cough from this little boy until I was in the waiting room this afternoon. Little man has been battling stomach issues (I will spare you the details) and a fever ranging from 100-103 since Friday night, but there was no cough. Now there is a cough... or a bark... or a horrible sound that makes it hard for him to breathe. It also makes him sad. Very sad. Which makes us sad. Luckily, five minutes after the Motrin hits his lips, he is back to my happy boy...We are trying now to keep this thing away from Sammy-pants. I will be lucky if I can keep them from swapping binks for the next few days. Should be interesting.
*oh, and no, I did not make him pose for this picture... he was standing there fine and happy, playing with the paper and then lost it and refused to come to me... i was initially taking pictures of him being silly...
**and how tall is he... seriously, he looks like he is 7!!!

A Shipment
Much like the care package of a few weeks ago, Henry loaded up his CAT truck with a very important shipment. This kid is constantly looking for containers and filling them up with random toys and household items. The poor dogs are going crazy because their toys are ending up in wipes containers and lunchboxes. This is going to become a problem when my keys or blackberry end up in the next hidden location.

Another Comparison
Sam is definitely getting his own look, but there are still some shots where he reminds me of Henry at this age... Here is another comparison... perhaps it is just the hair and the fact that I am in the pics that makes them look so similar!

Binky Junkie and Baba Prodigy
Around 7:00, my little binky junkie will find a binky, grab his lovey and climb into one of our laps. Tonight, however, the only binky available was still attached to his shirt from the drive home. Hilarious.
Then we have poor little Sammy-pants, who has been forced to become a baba prodigy... my 2 month old now holds his own bottle. Not often, but on occasion, he has needed to adapt while I have chased Henry up the stairs or pulled him out of the fire place. Poor neglected baby!

Indy Getaway 3.10
Yesterday, we packed up the troops and headed to Indy for the night. With 2 babies, 2 dogs and the 2 of us, you would have thought we were leaving on a month long trip. The best part was that my parents, who may or may not have been suffering from grandchild withdrawal, offered to get a hotel room in the hotel next door to our friends' condo downtown and keep the boys overnight. Amazing how sleeping until 7 a.m. after a night out on the town now seems like a luxury compared to the 4 a.m. Sammy-pants wake-up call. So... after a night of friends, sushi and some much-appreciated cocktails, we are ready to face another week! :) Thanks to Nana and Pampa for giving us the break! We are so lucky that you are slightly obsessed with our boys, and we appreciate everything you do. Thanks also to Uncle "Biscuit" and Aunt Heather Heather Heather for dealing with our invasion!
We did not get any pictures of our evening, but I did snap a few of the boys this morning.
