No "B's" Allowed

Now that our big boy (or I should say ig oy) has started talking more and more, we have realized that he has rejected the letter B, and a few other consonants for that matter. It is hilarious, and I am not quite sure how this aversion developed.... Examples -

Uncle Bryce = uh uh IIIIIIIICE

Bus = US (one of our 2 true loves right now)

Binker = inker

Bye Bye = uh-EYE

and so on...

The letter M seems to be on probation, and the only acceptable use of this letter is to express how delicious our food tastes (i.e. mmmmmmm) and, of course, to identify me, MA MA. However, other traditional uses of the letter, such as in the word "mouth," are strictly forbidden. Thus, the hole in our face containing teeth and surrounded by lips is referred to by our boy as OUF.
